Isachsen Weather Station in The North Western Territories of Canada - Abandoned in 1978

Had loads of interest in this set of photos from Urbexforums after one of their members posted a link in the forum. Check out the gallery by clicking on the picture above.
After having raced to the Magnetic North Pole we put our feet up at the finish and waited for the rest of the teams to arrive. The Isaschen Weather Station was right on our doorstep and was one of the most isolated and desolate places I've ever been to. It was abandoned in 1978 and was left exactly as it was then. Coffee cups sat on tables, a 1978 calender was pinned to a wall and various lumps of Arctic hardware littered the camp.
