Sky diving from a hot air balloon in Chicago, USA
Whilst at the World Free Fly Festival in Rantoul, Chicago it seemed like a good idea to get up at 5am and jump out of a hot air balloon. It wasn't so much the jumping as the landing......
With a blanket of 6 foot high maze fields, power cables and roads the only really safe places to land were people's back gardens.
I managed to steer myself onto somebody's lawn with only a couple of feet to spare.
The family were incredibly accommodating considering some Brit had just disturbed their breakfast and they brought me a coffee as heart settled down.
